ABS and Blake’s Kitchen Cook-Off
ABS volunteered at Blake’s Kitchen Cook-Off by Children’s Wishes held at Rhodes on Pawtuxet. The event is for children ages 8-18 and started in 2021, in honor of one of their wish children, Blake Costa. Blake loved to cook with his mom and dad. Children’s Wishes keeps his memory alive while inspiring younger generations to get in the kitchen.
We had our volunteer team decorating cookies and cupcakes, as well as making Mother’s Day gifts. Multiple restaurants came to display their food, and kids were given ingredients to help contribute to the culinary event. The event raised $2700 in donations! We are so grateful to have the opportunity to contribute to a wonderful cause each year.
